Keep active this holiday season with our jazzy suggestions

Make a day out, there are hundreds of places to explore an hour or so away from Sydney. And explore Sydney itself!

Have you got a restaurant you have always wanted to try out? There are hundreds of restaurants in Sydney with cuisines from all over the world.

Book for a morning/afternoon tea. Think scones, a soothing cup of tea and relaxing - high teas are a an incredible way to spend the afternoons.

Seeing that it has been raining so much in Sydney lately, we'd highly recommend whale watching. It's a great time of year to go out on a boat trip and watch the white whales coming in.

Book yourselves a day in the spa. There are spas, facials, manicures, pedicures, saunas and massages to choose from . And you will look good and feel good afterwards.

Take the ferry to Manly and back and enjoy some harbour views.

Visit museums - Maritime, Powerhouse, the Australian Museum and the MCA.

To relax and enjoy nature visit the  Botanical Gardens or the Chinese Garden of Friendship

If you're into the holiday festivities - there's a lovely matinee this Sunday (18 Dec) at 2:15pm of Handel's Messiah - a classical music masterpiece  -  http://www.handelsmessiah.org.au/

For a rainy day (and it looks like it will be raining these holidays) fall back on our all time favourite - take yourselves to the movies!

Enjoy the holidays by staying active and stepping out!
