What Chicken Soup Can't Cure - An event for the whole family

“What Chicken Soup Can’t Cure”  is a Mental Health and Well Being event staged by JewishCare and supported by Maccabi and Wolper Jewish Hospital. It will be held on the 10th November from 11am – 2pm at the Emanuel School, Randwick.

It will be the biggest such event that our community has held and will increase awareness about mental health and provide information on how to lead a healthier life with and an improved sense of well being.

Leading practitioners and organisations like Black Dog Institute and East Sydney Medicare Local will be attending.

There will be presentations, talks and information as well as entertainment by performers including the Voice Finalists – Nick Kingswell and Rob Edwards and Kayne Tremills from ABC program Bushwacked.

There will plenty of kids activities including face painting, sports activities and an art exhibition that is curated by Caroline Sherman.

Entry will be FREE and we expect hundreds of people from the Jewish and wider community to attend.

It will be a fun event for the whole family whilst communicating some important information at the same time.
