COTA NSW have excellent information on the following legal issues through their Legal Pathways Project.

The Legal Pathways Project provides a way for people to plan for the future through proper legal channels, COTA NSW, Legal Aid NSW, the Law Society of NSW, and The Aged-care Rights Service have formed a partnership to provide legal assistance to seniors.
Each month, qualified solicitors visit the COTA NSW office to offer a half hour consultation for free. If a legal document is drawn up, a donation of $50 per document is paid to COTA NSW.
Persons who receive an age pension or hold a Commonwealth Seniors Health Card are eligible to participate in the Legal Pathways project. All appointments or enquiries need to be made through the COTA NSW office (02) 9286 3860. There are solicitors available in Newcastle, Maitland, Central Coast and south-western Sydney areas as well. As a ‘Pathway’ service, COTA NSW may be able to direct you to other legal services in your area, or an appropriate legal service that can assist with your specific situation.
