Do you require some help at home? or know someone who needs assistance?

JewishCare's Aged Case Work Team supports aged clients to live independently in their own homes.

We regularly post information about available community resources to assist aged people in the community.

This week we would like to introduce the My Aged Care website that has been established by the Australian Government to help people navigate the aged care system. The Gateway was designed to give people more choice, more control and easier access to a full range of aged care services.

My Aged Care provides a variety of aged care information but this week we would like to look at home help information provided by My Aged Care that may assist people to be able to better manage and continue living in their own homes. You may be interested in looking at the information provided by My Aged Care on one or more of the following topics:

 -Domestic help
-Social support and activities
-Counselling and support

  1. You're so cool! I do not think I've read through something like this before. So nice to find another person with some unique thoughts on this issue. Really.. many thanks for starting this up. This website is one thing that is needed on the web, someone with some originality!
